Welcome to the Brewery Manners Class! Do you want to enjoy a drink or meal with your pup by your side-without the stress? Does your dog get overwhelmed by the excitement, or do you feel unsure about managing them in a busy setting? You’re not alone and we’re here to help! Perfect Pals Dog Training is teaming up with Good Boy Jack's and the Edgewater Beer Garden for a 6 week group class to help teach your dog how to relax in a bustling brewery environment and to show you how to manage these outings. Using all positive reinforcement methods, we'll be teaching you and your dog some of the necessary skills to be out and about at a brewery, what you should bring with you and practice in a real-life brewery setting. Your dog will learn how to settle around lots of distractions, greet other people nicely, walk in and out of the brewery calmly, and to avoid eating all those tempting dropped snacks. We want to help you and your pup fully enjoy a day out together!

Is this class right for you and your dog?

  • Your dog is not fearful, uncomfortable or aggressive to new people. It’s OK if they are a little nervous or scared; We just want them to be able to feel comfortable, have low stress and be able to learn, while ensuring the safety of everyone in the class.

  • Your dog must be 6 months of age or older. Please reach out if you are close to this age and want to join!

  • Your dog must have had some basic training in the past (With Perfect Pals, another trainer or from training you did on your own).

  • Week 1-Virtual Orientation via Zoom: We strongly suggest you attend, 5/27/2026 @6:00PM.

  • Week 2-6/3/2026 @ 6:00PM at Good Boy Jack's

  • Week 3-6/10/2026 @ 6:00PM at Good Boy Jack's

  • Week 4-6/17/2026 @ 6:00PM at the Edgewater Beer Garden

  • Week 5-6/24/2026 @ 6:00PM at the Edgewater Beer Garden

Policies and Rules:

  • Ticket Prices are 1 per dog

  • We request 7 days notice (5/20/2026) prior to the first class (5/27/2026) to cancel your spot, in order to make room for other interested parties, otherwise your payment will be forfeited.

  • Class is limited to 6 dogs and no more than 2 human handlers per dog.

  • No choke, chain or E-collars.

  • Must be up to date on all vaccinations. These must be sent to Erin before the class begins.

Is there anything more that moms love than a patio outing with their friends and pups?! I know it's my favorite thing! You know what makes these outings even more fun? When your dog is relaxed and beaving nicely!

As part of their Mom Fest, we will be hosting a 1 hour workshop at Chicken Salad Chick in Greenwood Village!

This isn’t a formal class—it’s a guided, hands-on experience where you’ll get practical coaching while enjoying the atmosphere (and yes, chicken salad 😉)! You'll also have a chance to chat and meet other dog moms!

Rules and Policies:

-1 Ticket per human attending

-Well behaved dogs welcome on the patio (Comfortable around other dogs and people)

-Dogs must be up to date on vaccines

-All dogs must be leashed at all times

-Dogs only allowed on outdoor patio

-If you can no longer make it, please cancel within 3 days to give your spot to another person.

Puppy Socialization Classes!

These classes are perfect for puppies aged 9 weeks-6 months(2 separate classes for ages 9-16 weeks and 17 weeks to 6 months) to learn and play with other furry friends in a structured and safe play session. We will also be teaching some basic manners using positive reinforcement training to kick start your training. Let your pup socialize, learn new skills, and have a pawsome time! Don't miss out on this opportunity to help your puppy become a well-rounded and friendly dog. Currently these classes are being held at Goodheart Broadway in Denver, CO. K9 First-Aid Workshop

Knowing what to do in an emergency can make all the difference—but you don’t need to be a vet or certified to be prepared.

This 45-minute, non-certification K9 First Aid class is designed for dog owners who want practical, real-world knowledge to help keep their dogs safe. You'll learn from a certified trainer, Erin Gianella of Perfect Pals Dog Training, who is also trained and certified in K9 First-Aid. We’ll cover common pet emergencies, dangerous foods and toxins, choking, bloat prevention, hiking and outdoor safety, and how to know when it’s time to head to an emergency vet versus your regular veterinarian. We’ll also discuss what to keep in a dog first aid kit and what to do in urgent situations and when to seek immediate veterinary care.

This class is informational and supportive—perfect for everyday pet parents looking to feel more confident and prepared.
